Marina broker shares expertise in new trade vertical
Earlier this year, I connected with Colliers’ Leisure Property Advisors team to discuss the trends they’re seeing in the market for a possible PR story.
The team, who brokers the sale of marinas and other leisure properties, shared that they were seeing many marina owners add RV pads to their properties to create a destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
Together, we identified campground owners as a target audience for a story on the crossover opportunities for marinas and campgrounds. The goal was to position the Colliers team as experts in the marina space and share valuable information for campground owners looking to expand their portfolio into the marina space.
The result was a guest column in Woodall’s Campground Magazine, the only publication distributed exclusively to the owners and operators of Campgrounds, RV Parks and RV Resorts in the U.S. The story was shared online and in the September 2024 print edition, which is distributed to 14,000 owners and operators of campgrounds, RV parks, and RV resorts monthly throughout the United States.
